Calpeda GXV25-8 pump design

Single-impeller submersible pumps made of stainless chromium-nickel steel with vertical inlet.

GXR: open impeller (with cutting blades).

GXV: upset impeller (vortex type)

The engine is cooled by pumped water passing between the engine casing and the outer casing.

Double shaft seal with integrated oil chamber.

Minimum dimensions and maximum performance, diverse applications, head up to 12.7 m, flow rate up to 220 l/min.

Using a float switch to automatically start and stop.

Using GXR, GXV pumps

GXR:

• Pumping clear water containing solids up to 10mm in diameter.
• draining flooded rooms or baths
• drawing water from ponds, streams, rainwater wells; irrigation

GXV:

• Pumping clean or slightly polluted water containing suspended solids up to 25 mm in diameter.
• Most suitable for liquids containing solid foreign bodies and long fibrous particles.

When used outdoors, the length of the power cable must not be less than 10 m, according to EN 60335-2-41

Operational limits

Max liquid temperature: 50°C.

Immersion depth max. 5m

Minimum float level is 70mm for GXR and 130mm for GXV.

Minimum manual underflow is 15mm for GXR and 30mm for GXV.

Continuous work.

Engine

Induction 2-pole motor, 50Hz, 2900rpm

GXR, GXV: three-phase 230V (±10%) three-phase 400V (±10%).

GXRM, GXVM: mono-phase 230V (±10%) with float switch and thermal protector.

Built-in capacitor. Class "F" insulation.

IP X8 protection (for continuous submerged operation).

Dry wrapping with moisture resistant double impregnation.

Designed according to EN 60 335-2-41.
